<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corrugated fiberboard box for photosensitive material not only capable of protecting and storing a packaged body of photosensitive material but also provided with the performance related to the photographing by forming a box of double-side cardboard sheet in which the liner weight and the corrugating medium weight indicate respectively prescribed values, and the adhesive mainly consists of starch. SOLUTION: When a corrugated fiberboard box for photosensitive material, in particular, a cardboard box for photosensitive material in which generation of paper pieces, burr-shaped paper pieces (whisker), and paper powder is remarkably reduced, the liner weight and the corrugating medium weight to be specified by JIS P 8124 are set to be 150-450g/m<2> , and 120-250g/m<2> respectively, and the adhesive mainly consisting of starch is used. The adhesive is prepared by mixing the carrier part solution A in which 5-25wt.% starch is swollen and broken with heated water at 40-80 deg.C together with 0.2-1.0wt.% sodium hydroxide with the main part solution B in which 20-40wt.% starch is dispersed in warm water at 20-50 deg.C together with 0.3-2wt.% borax at the ratio of A/B=0.3-0.7.</p> |
