PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the configuration of communication equipment by providing a basic system composed of 2-phase or 4-phase chips and additionally copying the plural rear and front chips of a finite length period system outside the front and rear parts of the finite length period system provided by repeating one or plural systems as above. SOLUTION: A communication system 1 is provided with the basic system composed of 2-phase or 4-phase chips on the side of transmission when performing communication between communication equipment 2 and a receiver 3 through a transmission line 4. Outside the front and rear parts of the finite length cycle system of comblined spectrum provided by repeating one or plural such systems, the plural rear and front chips of the finite length period system are additionally copied. Thus, an expanded frame is constituted and on the side of reception, this frame is demodulated by using the matching filter of the finite length period system before expansion.
