<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent or reduce a faulty display caused by an existence of split boundary part by improving a patterning process of a manufacturing process, in a manufacturing method of a liquid crystal display device with active elements which split a display area and perform at least a part of the patterning process. SOLUTION: When a picture element electrode connected with MIM(metal- insulator-metal) is formed on an inner surface of an element side substrate 10, wiring and a first electrode layer are exposed to light by a mask 21 to pattern them in every three split areas and a second electrode layer is exposed to light by a mask 22 to pattern it in every four split areas, and the picture elements are exposed to light by a mask 23 in every three split areas, and thus, a split condition in of each patterning process is made different from each other.</p> |
