PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device having fiber plug gratings subjected to tamperature compensation. SOLUTION: This article has a supporting member 11 and an optical fiber 13 of a certain length which is mounted at this supporting member 11 and has a reflection wavelength λ at a certain temp. (for example, 20 deg.C). This supporting member 11 is a material having a negative coefft. of thermal expansion and contains a compsn. selected from a group consisting of a Zr-tungstate- base compsn. and an Hf-tungstate-base compsn. The material having a positive coefft. of thermal expansion is selected from a group consisting of Al2 O3 , SiO1 , ZrO2 , MgO, CaO and Y2 O3 . |
