PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce the subject yarn, comprising a reinforcing filament and a matrix filament composed of a low-melting thermoplastic polymer, having a low hot air shrinkage percentage and useful for processing into a fabric sheet material such as a laid structure. SOLUTION: This low-shrinkable hybrid yarn comprises a reinforcing filament composed of glass, carbon or an aromatic polyamide and a matrix filament composed of a polybutylene terephthalate or polyethylene therephthalate having a lower melting point than that of the filament and has <=2%, especially <=1% hot air shrinkage percentage measured under 0.0004cN/dtex load at 160 deg.C air temperature and <=5%, especially <=3% hot air shrinkage percentage measured under 0.0004cN/dtex load at 200 deg.C air temperature and further up to the maximum 0.01cN/dtex static shrinkage force at a temperature up to 200 deg.C at the maximum. |
