PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a detergent having strong cleaning power and excellent portability with which a contact lens can be easily cleaned by polymerizing a polymerizable component containing a specified nonlon surfactant and a crosslinking agent. SOLUTION: This detergent consists of a polymer obtd. by polymerizing a polymerizable component which contains a nonion surfactant having polymerizable unsatd. double bonds and a crosslinking agent which bonds and includes plural polymerizable unsatd. double bonds. As for the nonlon surfactant, a surfactant having a polyoxyethylene chain structure in the molecule is used. To obtain a higher cleaning effect, the nonion surfactant is preferably incorporated by >=5wt.% into the polymerizable component. The crosslinking agent is preferably incorporated by 0.01 to 5wt.% of the polymerizable component. Since the detergent has bonds of the nonion surfactant units, it advantageously shows an excellgent cleaning effect when used for cleaning. |
