NEGATIVE TEMPERATURE COEFFICIENT THERMISTOR

NTC thermistor composition consisting of manganese oxide-nickel oxide-cobalt oxide-copper oxide system and low-temperature preparation method therof are provided. NTC thermistor composition comprised of 50 to 60 wt% of manganese oxide, 15 to 20 wt% of nickel oxide, 4 to 24 wt% of cobalt oxide and 4 to 28 wt% of copper oxide is calcined and sintered at a low temperature of 700 deg. C of calcination temperature and 1050 to 1150 deg. C of sintering temperature respectively to produce the NTC thermistor of low temperature type. The NTC thermistor has high resistance-temperature coefficient and low secular change, and enables fine temperature measurements.
