PURPOSE: To eliminate the need of any mechanical commutator, brush, and further rotor position sensor from a DC motor and, at the same time, to simplify a control circuit which drives the motor. CONSTITUTION: A brushless sensor-less DC motor is constituted of field magnets 1, an armature winding 2, rectifier 3 which is connected to the winding 2 so as to make an electric current flow to the winding 2 in one direction, and exciting winding 4 which generates an electromotive force through the winding 2 by electromagnetic induction and the commutation is performed by changing the relative position between the windings 2 and 4. |
