The system has grain or seed 4 fed into an inverted hopper 1 and this falls into a shuttle tray 5 in the base. The apex of the hopper is fitted with lighting and with a camera that monitors the seed and provides input of data to a computer 6. Seed or grain may also be weighed in a separate unit 7 or the weighing may be built into the base of the hopper. Seed or grain size can be displayed on a computer monitor 8 and data can be printed out.
