The cooling device of a motor comprises a fan and a motor necessary for driving the fan, the motor and the fan being installed on one outer side of a frame, for generating cool air, an absorption hole formed in the frame adjacent to the fan, the absorption hole having an absorption of the cool air generated from the fan, wherein the absorption of the cool air is provided to the inside of the motor, and a discharging hole formed on an opposite frame face of the absorption hole, for discharging the absorbed cool air to the outside of the motor, whereby heightening an efficiency of a cooling operation so as to prevent an aging of an insulating object caused by heat so extend a life of a motor.
