<p>The invention relates to novel mimetics of oligosaccharides, preferably of derivatives of sialyl-LewisX (sLeX) and sialyl-LewisA (sLeA), with improved action as inhibitors of cell adhesion, a process for the preparation of these compounds, and their use as pharmacological active compounds and as diagnostics, and pharmaceuticals which contain these compounds. They are represented by formulae (Ix) (Ia), wherein R1 is a lipophilic radical or a sugar residue.</p> |
