PURPOSE:To carry out the width broadening section of an existing tunnel by excavating the specified distance of the tunnel by using a main-shaft drum body and an expansion-contraction blade moved in the width broadening section between two or one tunnel. CONSTITUTION:Expansion-contraction blades 12, 13 continuously connected on both sides of an arched or chevron-shaped main-shaft drum body 11 in a slidable and extensible manner, cylindrical guides 16, 17 continuously connected at each one side end of the expansion-contraction blades 12, 13 and guided along guide grooves 14, 15, 32 formed to the segments 1a and 1b or 1c of a pair of or one existing tunnels 1, 2, and an infection nozzle 18 being mounted at the front end of the main shaft section 19 of the main-shaft drum section 11 and infecting high pressure water in a plurality of directions are installed. The water flow of excavated soil and sand is introduced to the rear end side of the main shaft section through discharge grooves 20 formed to the main-shaft drum body 11 and the expansion-contraction blades 12, 13, and discharged by a suction apparatus disposed at the rear of the main-shaft drum body 11. |
