The airbag retaining module has a casing (10), an inflation device and a folded airbag (16) fixed to the casing by a fixing sector round its inflation aperture. The inflation device has two virtually identical gas generators e.g. (12,14) fitted to a wall part of the box-shaped casing. The fixing sector of the airbag is fixed to the casing by a fixing frame (18) fitted in a channel round the casing. The casing and generators on one hand, and the frame and airbag on the other, form two pre-assembled construction groups. |
