Tank closure, especially for vehicles

The cap consists of a support part and a turnable operating element, which is opened/closed manually and/or by the filler arm of an automatic refuelling unit. A mainly straight closure part (10) is located between support part (3) and operating element (5). The closure part is moved by the operating element via an adjusting part, to open resp. close the filler aperture (1). The closure part can have an approx. semicircular edge aperture. When in open position, the axis of this is aligned with the central axis (4) of the filler aperture, and central openings (7,8) in support part and operating element.
