PURPOSE:To enhance the surge energy absorption and the power load by a method wherein a solid solution comprising 100wt.% of metallic antimony and 0.001-0.003wt.% of Ag is used for an antimony oxide as one of the additional constituents. CONSTITUTION:A solid solution comprising 100wt.% of metallic antimony and 0.001-0.003wt.% of Ag is used for an antimony oxide as one of the additional constituents. Thus, Ag as a very small quantity of additional constituent is not to be formed into a compound with a sub-constituent other than the antimony oxide during or after the sintering process. Accordingly, Ag will be contained without fail in the spinel particles formed of zinc oxide and antimony oxide. Through these procedures, said material can work efficiently for the absorption of surge energy and the power load. |
