PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new convenience related to a toll of pay road to a user, related to a navigation system. SOLUTION: After such route-setting as setting of arbitrary passage place including a destination has been performed (SA1), a route searching is performed based on the set condition to calculate a recommended route (SA2). If a recommended route (which is calculated) includes a pay road (SA3:YES), based on a charge table which, stored in a map CD-ROM, shows the toll to-be-paid at a toll gate of pay road, a charge to be paid for a pay road (specifically, at one or more toll gates), is calculated (SA4). After a recommended route from a departure place to a destination place obtained by route calculation and a charge display which shows a toll for each pay road and total charge, etc. A displayed on a monitor (SA5), the data of recommended route containing place name representing a toll gate of pay road is stored. |
