PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a layer having a nearly uniform thickness without deviation of a granular material in the inside of a hermetically sealed housing when a part of a living body has been covered with a retaining member and it has been hardened, by parallelly arranging a plurality of tubes made of a flexible sheet material to form the bag-form retaining member containing a granular material. SOLUTION: A air-permeable bag-form retaining member 20 in which a plurality of tubes 24 charged with a granular material are parallelly arranged, is contained in an air-tight mat 5 made of a flexible and air-impermeable bag- form material and provided with an air vent with a valve. In this way, the granular material is prevented from being unevenly distributed in the air-tight mat 5 by the gravitational action before the mat 5 is evacuated. When a part of a living body as a retained body 8 is kept along the shape by a retaining device and the inside of the air-tight mat 5 is deaerated, for instance, the air- tight mat 5 is closely stuck on the shape of the body 8 to be retained at a certain thickness and hardened. |
