PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently extinguish garbage and prevent the generation of putrid smell or the like without the necessity of replacing an implantation floor material in a garbage treatment device of type of decomposing and extruding the garbage by microbes. SOLUTION: A device consists of a disposer 2 set outside a sink 1, a decomposition tank 3 into which crushed garbage is fed, an outer tank 4 and an agitation device 5, and a drain outlet 6 composed of a plurality of small holes 6a is formed on the bottom of the decomposition tank 3, and porous ceramic grains 7 as a implantation floor material for microbes stored in the decomposition tank. The garbage crushed by the disposer 2 is discharged into the decomposition tank 3, wherein agitated with the porous ceramic grains 7, and the garbage is decomposed by the microbes proliferated on the surfaces and in the pores of the porous ceramic grains 7 and extinguished. Water content and decomposed water brought in from the garbage and a water supply system are passed through the small holes 6a of a drain outlet 6, flowed out into the outer tank 4, passed through a drain pipe 8 and flowed out into the drain outlet. |
