PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of excavation of mud ground by fitting a filling device to an excavating device, and dividing the filling device from a mud feeding pipe, and fitting a flow control unit and a rotary joint to the branch filling device, and feeding the slurry to a surface plate fitted to the filling device. SOLUTION: Adhesion of soil to the surface plate 3 of an excavating device is prevented by fitting a filling device 6 to an excavating device so that the slurry can be directly fed from a surface plate 3 to a working face space. The filling device 6 is divided from a mud feeding pipe 4, and a flow control unit 8 for controlling the quantity of slurry is provided in the divided filling device 6, and a filling port 9 is fitted to a surface plate to be rotated through a rotary joint 7. Slurry at 0.5-3.5 time in relation to the volume of the earth to be excavated is fed from the filling device 6 to a working face in front of the surface plate 3. Consequently, excavation of mud ground can be efficiently performed. |
