摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To regenerate a particulate scavenging filter even during low speed operation, by arranging an oxidation catalyst per each air cylinder in an exhaust manifold, and also arranging a filter on the exhaust downstream side of the exhaust manifold, and entrapping fuel at an appropriate time in exhaust gas. SOLUTION: In an exhaust manifold 3 in the exhaust emission control device for a diesel engine, a collecting pipe 3b is connected to branch pipes 3a extended from each air cylinder through connecting parts 3c, however, at this time, oxidation catalysts 6 are arranged in respective branch pipes 3a. Also, a filter 5 is arranged on the exhaust downstream side of the exhaust manifold 3. When a particulate scavenging amount to the filter 5 is increased, particulate is burnt so as to regenerate the filter 5, however, at this time, firstly, exhaust gas temperature is grasped, and it is judged whether or not this exhaust gas temperature is a predetermined temperature or more. When this judgment is NO, the exhaust gas temperature need be raised to the predetermined temperature, therefore gas oil is burnt in respective oxidation catalysts 6.</p>
