<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a producing method of a steel, by which firstly, molten iron from iron scrap and high calory gas used to power generation are obtd. in a cupola and the steel is produced with an electric furnace by using this molten iron as raw material and high calory gas is used as fuel for power generation and the electric power is generated and as a result, the production of steel with the electric furnace can remarkably economically be executed in comparison with the conventional method. SOLUTION: The steelmaking method using the iron scrap, is provided with the following processes. (A) The iron scrap (a) and coke (b) are charged into the cupola 3 from the upper part of the cupola 3 and gaseous oxygen (e) or the gaseous oxygen and the air and >=100kg/ton of iron scrap (a) of carbonaceous material (d) are injected from tuyeres at the lower part of the cupola to burn the carbonaceous material (d), and the iron scrap (a) is made to the molten iron and exhaust gas (m) having >=1500Kcal/Nm<3> calorific value is recovered from the upper part of the cupola. (B) The molten iron is used as a part of iron raw material and the steel is produced in the electric furnace. (C) The exhaust gas (m) is used as the fuel in a boiler 20 for power generation. As the carbonaceous material, the pulverized fine coal is desirable and as the coke, the coke for blast furnace is desirable.</p> |
