PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impart a gas generating agent composition which is unable to obtain sufficient combustion speed when calorific value is suppressed with combustion performance applicable to a gas generating agent for an air bag by molding the composition. SOLUTION: A gas generating agent molding for an air bag is obtained by molding the gas generating agent composition to a single ported cylindrical shape and a relation between linear combustion speed (mm/sec.) and thickness W (mm) in the gas generating agent composition under a pressure of 70kgf/cm<2> is in a range expressed by 0.005<=W/(2.r)<=0.1. The linear combustion speed thereof is preferably in a range of 1 to 12.5mm/sec. Further, a novel composition which is suitable to form a single holed cylindrical molding and consists of nitrogen-containing organic compounds, an oxidant, a slag forming agent and a binder is provided. |
