摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce images and patterns having varicolored tones by a method wherein a transparent fluorescent ink layer, which emits through the irradiation of ultraviolet rays either one of blue-, green- and red-colors, is provided heat- transferably on a base material sheet layer. SOLUTION: A thermal transfer sheet is made of a base material sheet for transferring and a transparent fluorescent ink layer 3, which emits fluorescence through the irradiation of ultraviolet rays under the condition that a releasing layer 2 is provided between the base material sheet 1 and the transparent fluorescent ink layer 3. As the composition of a transparent fluorescent ink used in the transparent fluorescent ink layer 3, a resin for an ink binder, an ultraviolet light emitting fluorescent agent and a voltaile organic solvent are employed. The transparent ultraviolet light emitting fluorescent agent is a high purity florescent substance, the peaks of spectra emitted from which excited with ultraviolet rays at the returning to an energy level lower than that excited with ultraviolet rays lie respectively within the wavelength regions of blue, green, red or the like. by combining a matrix crystal, which is the high purity fluorescent substance, with an actuator, the color tone, brightness, the degree of the attenuation of color or the like of a sheet can be adjusted.
