PRINTABLE THERMAL TRANSFER MATERIAL HAVING NORMAL TEMPERATURE RELEASE CHARACTERISTIC

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printable thermal transfer material having a normal temperature release characteristic. SOLUTION: The printable thermal transfer material has a first and second surfaces and also contains a first soft layer selected from the group consisting of a film and a cellulosic nonwoven fabric web, a second layer covering the first surface of the first layer and a third layer covering the second layer. The second layer contains a thermoplastic polymer which essentially has not stickiness at a transfer temperature and has a solubility parameter of at least about 19(Mpa)<1/2> and glass transition temperature of at least about 0 deg.C. The third layer contains a thermoplastic polymer which is melted in a range of about 65 deg.C to about 180 deg.C and has solubility parameter less than about 19(Mpa)<1/2> . The second layer and the third layer give a normal temperature release characteristic to the printable thermal transfer material.
