The display has a playback unit that has a display 4 that allows two phase images to be produced and this has an image memory buffer 5 that has data input 6 via a multiplexer 8 coupled to image data sources 15,22. A central controller 22 coordinates the data transfer. The interpretation of the image data is obtained using a viewing module 3 that can be in the form of two units for a three dimensional effect.
