PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the molding workability of a developing device by enhancing the assemblability of a driving means of a developing device and simplifying the structure of a molding die of a developing unit housing. SOLUTION: The driving means of this developing device is provided with a driving gear G3 provided at the rotary shaft of a developing sleeve, a driving gear G4 provided, at the rotary shaft part 5A of a paddle wheel 5 and an intermediate gear G7 coupling the gap between the gears G3 and G4 and transmitting driving force. Then, the shaft part 12 of the gear G7 is engaged in recessed parts 1j, 1k, 1m and 1n piercing through prescribed positions in a housing 1 of the developing device so as to be fallen into the aperture part of the housing 1 from the upper part. Besides, the rotation center shaft of the gear G7 positioned between the two gear G3 and G4 to transmit the driving force is positioned more upward than the rotation shaft centers of the two driven and coupled gears G3 and G4. Then, when the driving force is transmitted to the developing device, the shaft part 12 of the gear G7 is pressed downward by the pressure angles of the gears G3 and G4, engaged and set in the recessed part in the housing 1. |
