Porous electrode manufacturing method for fuel cell

The method involves the following steps. An object is made that has the shape of the electrode externally and which consists of a material mixture that contains catalytically active material which is insoluble in acid or alkali as well as material that is soluble in acid or alkali. Then the material which is soluble is dissolved by acid or alkali. The material mixture contains additional polymeric material. The object has macroscopically large pores and during the dissolving process, additional microscopically small pores arise. The object is made by pressing the catalytically active material on a porous carrier which is soluble in acid or alkali.
