<p>The lock consists of an assembly of at least two articulated links (2, 3) with a slider mechanism. The slider mechanism incorporates a bar (17) pivoted to the end of one link, engaging with teeth on the other. The two links (2, 3) are connected respectively to the blind shaft (6) and the first slat (5) of the blind. The first link (2) is made from metal or plastic, is curved in shape and has a slot (11) for projecting tips on the toothed link (3). Once the bar has engaged with the teeth the blind can only be raised by turning the shaft (6).</p> |
