摘要 |
A total air fuel ratio setting mechanism sets specific air fuel ratio over and above a theoretical air fuel ratio during warm up period of a catalyst. A main fuel quantity (Ti1) is computed by a computer and injected during a compression stroke. An additional quantity (Ti2) is also computed and ejected during an expansion stroke, such that (Ti1+Ti2) equals total fuel air quantity. An ignition plug (4) ignites the air-fuel mixture inside a cylinder. An injector (5) injects the fuel into the cylinder. Catalyst converters (22,23) are situated into exhaust path. The main and the additional fuel are injected during the compression stroke and expansion stroke by the injector.
