The lower rail (10) of the guide has longitudinally extending wall sections which are formed into guide channels (12), and the upper rail (11) has wall sections running parallel to the wall sections of the lower rail and are also formed into guide channels (14). The guide channels lie opposite one another and form a slide guide of round or prismatic cross-section and in which is located a slide element (13) which in its neutral state has a larger cross-section than in its fitted position, and guides the upper and lower rails with no play.
