PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging and printing device using serial head wherein a difference in contact pressure of the serial head to a platy platen can be lessened by a simple structure. SOLUTION: The imaging and printing device is equipped with a platy platen 12 arranged long in a main scan direction of a serial head 14, and a platen base 25 on which the platy platen 12 is placed. In this case, a platen stay 12a constituting a rear face side of the platy platen 12 is formed in a semicircular cylindrical form being a form corresponding to a part of a circle by being seen from the main scan direction, and a semicircular recessed groove 25a corresponding to the semicicular cylindrical form is formed on the platen base 25. The platy platen 12 is, in a freely pivotal manner, supported by bringing the semicicular curved face of the semicircular cylindrical form in slide contact with the semicicular curved face of the semicircular recessed groove 25a. |
