<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent touch input due to a visual angle error from being done by a mechanically simple structure by detecting the position of a position input pen as a viewpoint position by a viewpoint detecting means and performing input position correction with a correction value corresponding to the viewpoint position. SOLUTION: A control part 8 consists of a CPU, a ROM storing a program, a RAM, etc., and functions as a time difference circuit (viewpoint detecting circuit) as part of a correction position determining means, a position correcting means, and the viewpoint detecting means. The control part 8 finds the position of a light emitting element 6, i.e., the viewpoint position according to a difference between photodetection states that light receiving elements 4 receive from the light emitting element 6. Further, the correction value determining means determines the correction value according to the viewpoint position detected by the viewpoint determining means. The position correcting means corrects the input position according to the determined correction value.
