<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a channel efficiency and to improve the battery saving effect in a terminal station by allowing the user to prevent selectively the arrival of unrequired and undesirable incoming packets to suppress transmission/ reception of useless packets. SOLUTION: In the case that an outgoing packet from a host reaches a router 3, the router 3 references a table to check at first a state of destination radio terminal stations 1a-1c. When they are in operating state, the router 3 checks each port number of the packet to be reached to the radio terminal stations 1a-1c without conducting other processing. When the port number is included in port numbers designated in advance, at first the router 3 calls the radio terminal stations 1a-1c and transfers the packet after confirming it that the radio terminal stations 1a-1c reach the communication state. Since packets 6a, 6c having respectively port numbers 3, 12 in a standby state of packets 6a-6c having respectively port numbers 3, 9, 12 and whose destination is a #2 terminal station 1b in the standby state from the host 5 via a network 4 are not allowed for transfer in the standby state, the packets 6a, 6c are aborted.</p> |
