The crate is designed for the shipment and storage ofunpacked and of traditionally or specially packed fruit with areduced risk of damaging. It reduces the volume required for thetransportation and storage of the empty crates. The crate has theform of a truncated four-walled pyramid having uneven adjacentwalls (1 & 2). It lies on its small base - bottom (3) with twogrooves pointing downwards (4) at a distance between them equal tothe width of the large base. In their upper end the crate wallshave symmetrically positioned holes (5) for horizontal fixing ofsticks (6) with fruit packages (7) vertically suspended and foldedinto two halves. The packages consists of two plastic platesbetween which the single-layer arranged fruit is fixed by heatsticking to the plates. When empty the crates fit into each other,and when they are full they are fitted on top of each othercrosswiss so that the grooves of the bottom of the upper crate areinserted in the long walls of the lower crate.1 claim, 1 figure./!
