PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make inspection accuracy hardly affected by orientation of a face of an object to be inspected and the environment, by providing a first inspection means that executes the inspection of a cylindrical outer surface which is loaded on a running truck and inwardly disposed thereon and a second inspection means that executes the inspection of a second face to be inspected and is disposed away from the first inspection means. SOLUTION: The first inspection means 3 makes a probe 13 supported by a straight line driving mechanism 12 project inward by virtue of movement of a running truck 1 to be brought into contact with a first face to be inspected. A probe driving motor is operated and the probe 13 is moved in the vertical direction, then an incident position and the incident direction of an ultrasonic wave with respect to a circumferential welding section are set and inspection for flaw detection is executed. A second inspection means 4 makes the straight line driving mechanism 12 to be projected in the upper direction by virtue of operations of an arm driving section 22 and an expansion/ contraction section 23 and makes the probe 13 to be brought into contact with a second face to be inspected, then the ultrasonic flaw detection at a position in the vicinity of the circumferential welding section is executed. The inclination of the straight line driving mechanism 12 is set by means of rotational angles of a projection angle setting 21 and a head swing section 14. |
