PURPOSE:To efficiently and constantly dissolve carbon dioxide gas by a simple apparatus by allowing carbon dioxide gas to join a jet of liquid for dissolution and allowing the resulting confluence of the carbon dioxide gas and the jet to pass, in succession, through a diffuser and a static mixer at the time of dissolving carbon dioxide gas in a liquid. CONSTITUTION:A carbon dioxide gas dissolving apparatus having a confluence pipe 1, a nozzle 2, a diffuser 3, a static mixer 4, etc., is prepared. A liquid for dissolution is introduced through an inlet hole 2a into the nozzle 2 and sprayed through the outlet of the nozzle 2 into the confluence pipe 1. Simultaneously, carbon dioxide gas is introduced via an inlet hole 1a into the confluence pipe 1 and allowed to join the jet of the liquid for dissolution, and the resulting confluence of the carbon dioxide gas and the jet is introduced into the diffuser 3, where the carbon dioxide gas is dispersed in the form of fine bubbles into the liquid jet. Subsequently, the above confluence is introduced into the static mixer 4, where the carbon dioxide gas dispersed phase is further dispersed, mixed, and agitated to allow the carbon dioxide gas to be rapidly absorbed and dissolved in the liquid. |
