PURPOSE: To recover a specific gas component as a resource at a low cost by passing high-temperature combustion discharge gas kept to prescribed temperature through a specific adsorbent to adsorb a specific gas component and selectively separating and recovering the gas by the difference of retention time. CONSTITUTION: An adsorbing agent containing a powdery or fine-particle-like inorganic solid substance whose surface exhibits a basic is packed into a heat- resistant fine and narrow cylindrical container having flow inlet and flow outlet of gas at the both ends. Then, a high-temperature combustion discharge gas having 100-1000 deg.C temperature is passed through the container to adsorb a specific gas component such as CO2 or N2 into the inorganic solid substance. The specific gas component is selectively separated and recovered by the difference of adsorption and desorption time (retention time) of the specific gas component to the inorganic solid substance. |
