PURPOSE:To make it possible to conform the existence of following documents by the form of a ruled line and at the same time, prevent data from being mistaken by changing a ruled line which is output to the bottom of a document if necessary, when a document consisting of documents is output. CONSTITUTION:A determination device 3 determines whether recorded data to be printed on the following document exists, when recorded data to be printed at the final printing position of document is read from a storage device 1. Then if the existence of the recorded data is determined by the determination device 3, an output ruled line change device 4 changes the shape of a ruled line to be printed at the final printing position. Accordingly, for instance, if a ruled line to be output to the bottom of a page is changed, it is possible to confirm easily whether the following pages exist by the shape of the ruled line. If the ruled line which is output to the bottom of a page is the same as an ordinary ruled line, it is possible to confirm the page as final. In addition, no particular characters are output, so data can be prevented from being mistaken. |
