PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress wear of an energizing tip, to eliminate surface damage due to spark generation, and to obtain a welded product with superior appearance. SOLUTION: An energizing tip 2 of a material having conductivity of 80%IACS or higher and strength of 5kg/mm<2> or above at 800 deg.C is brought into contact with a galvanized steel sheet 1 coated with a plated layer containing Al, so that the galvanized steel sheet 1 is continuously welded with a high frequency current 3 supplied. The material used for the energizing tip 2 is alumina dispersed copper. The contact area of the energizing tip 2 is desirably 200mm<2> for a material to be welded. Consequently, excess heat or high temperature deformation is suppressed for the energizing tip 2 during welding, as is an alloying reaction between the electrode material and the plated layer 1. |
