摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric resonator small in spurious radiation, large in the differenceΔF between a resonance frequency and an anti-resonance frequency and capable of adjusting theΔF. SOLUTION: A piezoelectric resonator 10 includes a box shaped base 12. The base 12 includes ten piezoelectric layers 12a to be laminated. The piezoelectric layer 12a has a size different from the base 12 in the lengthwise direction. The piezoelectric layer 12a is polarized in the lengthwise direction of the base 12 so that each layer is opposite at an interval of one layer. Eleven sets of electrodes 14 are formed respectively to both sides of the 10 piezoelectric layers 12a. The electrode 14 is covered by insulation films 16, 18 at an interval at the opposite side faces of the base 12. The insulation films 16, 18 are formed to coat the different electrodes 14. External electrodes 20, 22 a formed to the opposite side face of the base 12 and connected to the electrodes 14.
