<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to easily change and adjust a picture size by changing the data amounts of a digital video signal per one scanning line to be written in a memory in one period of a horizontal synchronizing signal. SOLUTION: At the time of changing the size in a vertical direction of a picture at the time of reading by a picture size adjusting circuit, a selector 300 reads the output signal Dclk1 of a phase synchronizing loop 110, and selects it as an enable signal. The clock period of this signal Dclk1 is faster than the clock period of a writing enable signal Dclk2 so that the first input line is read twice. That is, digital color signals Rd, Gd, and Bd written in one memory area are read for plural scanning lines in one cycle of a horizontal synchronizing signal Hsync. Thus, the picture size can be changed in the vertical direction by changing the data value of a vertical size control signal Vsize.</p> |
