PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the undesirable vibration of the circumference of a blood vessel. SOLUTION: This device is formed of a material which is rigid, has adequate elasticity in the final, is not reabsorbed, is biologically inert, does not absorb water and is sterilizable. The material has a form of an incomplete tube 4 and the length thereof is >=5 times the diameter of the blood vessel to be fused or the substitutive blood vessel. An orifice 5 having a width of >=1/4 the circumference of the tube is formed at the third and fourth 1/5 parts in the direction opposite to the blood flow of the entire length of the incomplete tube 4. On the other hand, a tongue-like structure 6 gradually tapered or a similar tongue- like structure 10 or both project from the apex of the orifice 5 or the rear end of the orifice 5. On the other hand, these structures are adequately curved outward to a bow shape like the edge 8 of the orifice 5 and all the edges of the device are round and are polished extremely smoothly over the entire inside surface. |
