PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a display and entry method in which a user freely enters information by a method wherein, when the information is entered, with an ink, into a recording face region so as to be displayed, the absorbance in the wavelength of recording light and/or reproducing light of the ink is set at 10% or lower in an inky state. SOLUTION: When a display is entered, with an ink, into an optical disk, the absorbance in the wavelength of recording light and/or reproducing light for the optical disk of the used ink is set at 10% or lower, preferably at 0 to 10%, in an inklike state. When the ink is used, information can be displayed on, and entered into, the surface of the optical disk in a recording face region on the side of a light incident face when the optical disk is recorded and reproduced. Even after the information has been entered in this manner, a change in a reflectance is small, and no error is generated irrespective of whether the information is displayed or not. When the absorbance of a laser beam exceeds 10%, the reflectance is changed according to whether the information is entered or not into the recording face region, a characteristic in the recording operation and the reproducing operation of the information is worsened in such a way that an error is increased when the information is entered. |
