PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize the discharging force and improve the discharging efficiency of a liquid discharging head by a structure wherein a movable member, the free end displaceable with a bubble of which locates on the upstream side from the opposing region to the minimum areal region of a discharging orifice of the free end, is interposed between the heating surface of a board and the discharging orifice. SOLUTION: A liquid discharging head is a so-called a side shoe type one, in which a discharging orifice 418 is arranged to face substantially parallel to the heating surface of a heating element 402. To directly communicate with the discharging orifice 418, a liquid flow path 410 for flowing liquid is provided between an orifice plate 414 and a base board 401. In the liquid flow path 410, a flat cantilever-shaped movable member 431 is provided opposite to the heating element 402. At least the free end 406a of the movable member 413 is arranged within the region, to which the pressure developed by a bubble is applied. The movable member 431 is arranged so as to set its free end 406a to the upstream side from the near center of the discharging orifice 418.
