PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a KARAOKE sing-along machine capable of correctly rating and evaluating the skill of a KARAOKE singer's skill. SOLUTION: The singing voice signals of KARAOKE singing are inputted via a microphone 1 to an A/D converter 2. This A/D converter 2 converts the singing voice signals into digital data. A data extraction section 3 extracts pitch data and sound volume data from the digitalized singing voice signals. The extracted pitch data and sound volume data (singing voice) are inputted to a comparator section 4. A sequener 7 reads out the pitch and sound volume data of guide molodies and singing skill data in parallel with data for KARAOKE playing and inputs the data to this comparator section 4. In the comparator section 4, the singing voices and the pitch and sound volume data of the guide moledies are compared. Rhythm differential data, pitch differential data and sound volume differential data are then figured out and the KARAOKE singing is rated by each of these three elements. This rating is executed by sections, such as special techniques in the way of singing in low voiced parts and climax. |
