PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the manhour of a seat layout decision correction job by deriving an optimum layout of seats in response to the inputted condition that is necessary for decision of the seat layout for display and output of the optimum layout result and then correcting and outputting this result. SOLUTION: When a layout of seats is decided, the shape 1 and the size 2 of a lecture room are inputted together with the shape 3 of the lecturer's desk, the size/number 4 of desks and the number 5 of listeners. Then an optimum layout of seats is coordinated (6) and displayed (7). A prescribed optimization program is loaded into a data processor to optimize the seat layout based on the input condition together with a graphic system which displays the graphics. Then the graphic/character information are added for display of the lecturer's desk, the entrance and exist of the lecture room, etc., and the seat layout result (a seat table) 8 is printed out. |
