EDGE DATA STRUCTURE UNIFYING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a total time needed for a unification of a feature structure and to perform a natural language processing. SOLUTION: In a method which unifies two edge data structures by means of a context storage copy link and a processor, the context storage copy link is always enlarged when the context storage copy link related to a first edge data structure is actuated in a unifying mode. The processor first discriminate the target attribute value pair of the actuated context storage copy link. Then the processor copies the attribute of the target attribute value pair to the first edge data structure. Finally, the processor adds the context storage copy link to the value of the target attribute value pair from the attribute that is copied to the first edge data structure.
