PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a self-adhesive silicone compsn. which exhibits a good adhesiveness in peeling, a high cohesive strength, and a high stickiness by adding resin copolymer, and an org. amine compd. SOLUTION: A self-adhesive silicone compsn. is obtd. through the step of heating a mixture contg. (A) a hydroxyl-terminated polydiorganosiloxane having a viscosity of 100-10,000,000mm<2> /s at 25 deg.C, (B) a soluble silicone resin having R3 SiO1/2 siloxane units (wherein R is a 1-20C monovalent hydrocarbon or halohydrocarbon group having no aliph. unsaturation, an alkenyl group, or a hydroxyl group) and SiO4/2 units, and (C) an org. amine compd. or its salt to give a reaction product; and the step of adding an org. peroxide or an azo compd. to the product. |
