发明名称 OPTICAL COMMUNICATION MODULE
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply conduct the optical alignment of the lenses and the optical fibers to be arranged in each port of the optical communication module in which signals are transmitted and received employing light beams having different wavelengths. SOLUTION: An optical communication module 1 is provided with a transmitting and receiving common port unit 2 for long wavelength band light beams L1 and short wavelength band light beams L2A and L2B, an output port unit 3 for the light beams L1, a light receiving section 4 of the light beams L2A and a light emitting section unit 5 for the light beams L2B. Each unit is integrally assembled in the condition in which a lens and an optical fiber are beforehand aligned optically (i.e. they are collimate adjusted). Therefore, in order to mount each unit on a module housing 10, it is only required to conduct the ajustment of the optical alignment between the units. Thus, the mounting of each unit is simplified.
