Testing of glued strength of carton or packaging side wall

The method uses a device for testing wall (4) using a pusher (13) attached to a screw jack (10), connected to a system (16) for measurement of the force required to unglue the wall from the packaging. The screw jack is contained within the packaging and the jack body (11) is mounted so that the jack pushes the pusher against the wall under test using a device (14) for application of the force to the wall. The jack body is fixed on a packing wedge (12) so that it is against the opposing packaging wall to the wall under test.
